February is a very popular month for weddings here in Cape Town. And on this day I felt like I had experienced one of the hottest days in my 15 years as a wedding photographer. There was a point during the first dance when the doors were all closed to keep the fog from spreading (and the AC was off due to load shedding) where I had to dart to the bathroom to splash water on my face as I thought I would otherwise pass out while the couple is having their first dance. Can you imagine... (uncomfortable laugh).
You know what I love? When a couple is just themselves. No pretences. Just people having a really really good time while looking fabulous.
