HELLO, I'M YOLANDÉ


When I'm not capturing weddings and events, I'm a homebody and mom to an adorable and feisty little three year boy named Magnus.


I live a very simple life with my family close to the mountains in Somerset West and nature is also where we spend most of our free time together.


I'm originally from Mpumalanga and moved down to the Western Cape 14 years ago to pursue my dream of wedding photography.


I've over a decade worth of experience traveling both nationally and internationally and what I enjoy most about my work is meeting people from all over the world.




A few things about me:

  • I was raised Afrikaans and can speak both Afrikaans and English fluently
  • I grew up in a town in Mpumalanga and moved to Cape Town at the age of 23 to pursue my dream career.
  • I was a journalist before I became a wedding photographer. I covered hard news stories like accidents and violent crimes. A very far cry away from my line of work now.
  • I hate cooking. Luckily I married someone who enjoys it.
  • I have a HUGE sweet tooth
  • I met my husband via online dating
  • We named our son after one of my husband's favourite Youtube rock-climbers
